RCO Bahrain publish children’s stories
Manama : The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) published children’s stories called “Mr. Sleep” and “Pen and Sharpener.”
The organisation published a collection of children’s short stories to contribute to the enrichment of educational and cultural aspects for the children of RCO.
The Department of Public Relations launched the story “Pen and Sharpener” by author Adel Al Mahmeed and the story ‘Mr. Sleep’ by author Ahmed Jassim. The stories were designed by Ahmed Al Shuroogi by using a technique to integrate children’s toys with cartoon drawings.
The plot of the story “Pen and Sharpener” deals with the argument of a pen and the sharpener about their roles, while the story of “Mr. Sleep” deals with children refusing to sleep and how it affects their lives.
The organisation is currently working on a new collection of stories in the coming period. The two stories published were launched at the Bahrain International Book Fair.
