Bahrain to host WMC panel induction, Radio Uthsav 2016

Manama : The induction of the Executive committee of the World Malayalee Council (WMC), Bahrain province for the term 2016 to 2018 is slated for tomorrow at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Hall. The induction ceremony will be followed by Radio Uthsav 2016, an exclusive show by the Asianet radio jockeys. 

Those 16 radio jockeys, who have millions of fans across the world, are being flown in from the UAE and will get together on stage to perform live. 

For thousands of Asianet friends, who tune their ears to the voices of these Asianet fames, it would be a rare opportunity to watch them in action. This three-hour event which will present many memorable moments for the audience will start from 6 pm.

 The biennial general council meeting for the term 2016 to 2018 was held on February 19 at Marvida Tower, Juffair. WMC Bahrain Election Returning Officer Devraj K G declared the members unanimously elected to Executive Council.

The Executive Council for the term 2016 to 2018 consists of P. Unnikrishnan (Chairman),  Sevi Mathunni (President), Joshua Mathew (Secretary), C.N. Unnikrishnan (Treasurer), Shainy Nithyan (Vice President), Jyothish Panicker (Vice President), Jayasree Somanath (Vice President),  Jayafar Maidani (Vice Chairman), Faisal FM (Vice Chairman), Mridula Balachandran (Vice Chairperson) and Jagath Krishnakumar (Asst. Secretary).

 The WMC was formed on July 3, 1995 in New Jersey. The main objective of this organisation is to provide connectivity throughout the globe and to bring together the widely scattered community of Malayalee/people of Kerala origin.
