King’s Swiss visit to bolster ties: Bahrain FM

Geneva  : The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, said that the current visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Switzerland will undoubtedly consolidate bilateral ties and deepen the framework of coordination between the two countries. 

He was speaking in a meeting with the State Secretary of Switzerland’s Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yves Rossier in Geneva yesterday.

Follow-Up Minister at the Royal Court Shaikh Ahmed bin Atiyatallah Al Khalifa; Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani; and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala bint Mohammed Al Ansari were also present on the occasion. 

During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid praised the relations between the countries, affirming the desire of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further boost them for the common good of the two countries and the people.  

Meanwhile, Rossier said his country looks forward to diversifying the fields of cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. He pointed out that the conclusion of more agreements during the current visit of HM the King would meet this goal. 

A number of regional and global issues of common concern were also discussed in the meeting.
