GPIC trainee wins top GPCA award
Manama : Bahrain Polytechnic International Management and Logistics student Amal Al-Saffar, who trained at the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) for her graduation project, has won the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association’s (GPCA) “Rising star in the supply chain” Award for 2016.
GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery congratulated Al Saffar and said the project focussed on the importance of adapting towards environment friendly activities in logistics and road transport operations related to the field of petrochemicals, specifically on the distribution of Urea.
Al Saffar thanked the GPIC Management and said the practical training provided by the Company was an opportunity to learn about the application of internationally-accepted best practices in the industry. She said her project focussed on eco-friendly logistics and road transport industry activities.
