RCO brings together orphans, widows

Happiness and excitement took centre stage as orphaned women and widows yesterday gathered at Al Areen Palace and Spa and engaged themselves in various lively activities, sponsored by Royal Charity Organisation (RCO).
According to Specialist, Customer Service at the RCO, Sara Al Awadhi, the organisation brought them together as they shared similar experiences in their lives.
“All of them are going through different kinds of stresses due to the absence of loved ones. Therefore, RCO organises such events to bring joy in their lives,” she said.
“By June, school exams finish and our participants get some free time. Keeping this in mind, we chose to organize the event now,” she said.
General Manager of Al Areen Palace and Spa Pierre Vasseur said they had been regularly organising such events to support the activities of RCO.
“Recently we organised a family day and a part of the revenue was handed over to RCO,” he added.
