Easy win for Rest of the Schools, Indian School

Manama :The Rest of the Schools easily defeated Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School by 58 runs and Indian School got the better of Bahrain Youth team by 83 runs in the Under 14 Junior Cricket Championship at the National Stadium ground in Isa Town, organised by Cricket Bahrain Association (CBA) under the patronage of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

Batting first, Rest of the Schools made 104 for two with the main scorers being Chitanya (23 not out), Rishab Ramesh (22), Thushar Hariprasad (21) and Sachin (18 not out).

In reply, Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School were dismissed for just 46 thanks to excellent bowling by Sachin (five for two) in 2.3 overs with good support from Chaitanya Prakash (two for nine).

In another match, Indian School made a huge total of 150 in 20 overs with the main scorers being Varun (34) and vice-captain Mufliah (25 not out) and then bowling Bahrain Youth out for just 67 with the wickets shared by Eeshan (three) and Karan (two).

Other scores: 

Combined School 141/5 (Asdon Fernandes 18, Neeraj 15) bt Pakistan Combined 129 all out (Anas 28, Waleed 24, Rohit Rai 5/20, Asdon Fernandes 2/28) by 12 runs. 

New Millennium School 101/1 in 13.3 overs (Harsh 39, Kamran 31no) bt New Millennium School 100/9 in 20 overs (Sayed Azam 48. Sufian 3/20, Ayush 3-9) by nine wickets.
