Bahrain Information Minister receives PhD graduate

Manama: Information Affairs Minister,  Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, who is also the Chairman of Bahrain Institute
for Political Development (BIPD) Board of Trustees, stressed the Kingdom’s strides since the launch of the National Action Charter.

“Continuous constitutional and legislative reforms are the cornerstone of democratic rule and sustainable development under the pioneering project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” he said. This came as he received Dr. Ramzan Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Constitutional Law teacher at the University of Bahrain (UoB) College of Law, who presented a copy of his PhD thesis from US George Town University.

He stressed the importance of the recent constitutional amendments and updated national legislations. He added that these legislations is in line with global standards in terms of respect of rights and public liberties, as acknowledged by international watchdogs.

He thanked the Minister for his keenness on supporting young researchers in the Kingdom.
