RCSC among Bahrain’s key military training centres
Manama : Deputy King HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) has already placed itself amongst the Kingdom’s most important military education and training centres.
The Deputy King was speaking during a ceremony, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to mark the completion of two Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) courses yesterday. The courses included the first National Defence Course and the eighth Joint Command and Staff Course.
HRH Prince Salman also praised the standard of RCSC courses, which continue to receive HM King Hamad’s support.
Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Defence Affairs Major-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi, Commander of the RCSC Major General Abdulla Saeed Al Mansoori and other senior BDF officers attended the ceremony.
The Deputy King congratulated the officers graduating from both courses, emphasising that strategic security planning and a thorough understanding of national, regional and international issues are a prerequisite for all senior military posts. He also praised the academic achievements of the officers, which will enable them to become future leaders.
In this regard, Prince Salman commended the RCSC Commander and staff for the educational support they have provided to the graduates throughout their training.
The RCSC Commander addressed the audience and expressed his appreciation for the support the RCSC continues to enjoy from the Kingdom’s leadership. Major General Al Mansoori also expressed his pride in the level of efficiency that has been reached at the RCSC, particularly in light of the defence and security challenges faced by the region.
The Deputy King’s sons, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa also attended the ceremony.
