Man jailed in Budaiya fake bomb case
Manama : The High Criminal Court has sentenced a man to seven years imprisonment on grounds of burning tyres and placing a fake bomb on Budaiya Highway.
According to court reports, the defendant is implicated in a sabotage occurred on April 30, 2014, where eight tyres were seen on fire with a strange objective placed in the middle.
It resembled a bomb as it had wires connected with a mobile phone and a piece of plastic. Bomb disposal experts handled it, and they declared that it was a fake bomb.
