Demistan sewerage network work apace
Manama : The Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Asma Jassim Murad yesterday informed that the Ministry had achieved 85pc in the implementation of a sewerage network in Demistan Block 1019.
She explained that the project consists in extending 1,300m of main and sub-connections, constructing 50 inspection chambers for both the main and sub-connections and connecting 52 houses and land pieces to the network.
The BD195,000 project was tendered by the Tender Board to Abdul Hadi Al Afu company.
