Al Noor International School achieves 100pc!

Manama: Students of Al Noor International School who sat for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’s All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) in March 2016 have achieved a 100 percent success rate.

The school’s sixth batch of Class 12 students, aged 17 and 18, obtained outstanding results in both Science and Commerce.

Out of the 16 students, Rahjabeen Mohamed Iqbal scored 88.8pc to become the school topper in Commerce stream.

Wissem Bououdina, who scored 85pc, is the top scorer in the Science stream.  

Binscal Pascal Paul, Poosarla Sai Sanketh, Saumya Somasekharan, Wissem Bououdina, Anusha Merrin Bobby, Zainab Nazimudeen and Aaron Barreto scored 95pc marks in English, said CBSE Section Head Teacher Deepa Talwar. 

Rahjabeen is also the school topper in Marketing (96pc), Business Studies (90pc) and Accountancy (80pc).

Prathana Coleen David topped in Economics (95pc), Zakiya Aslam in Physical and Health Education (97pc), Saumya Somasekharan in Multimedia and Web Technology (92pc), Wissem Bououdina in Physics (88pc), Chemistry (90pc), Biology (88pc) and Aaron Barreto in Computer Science (77pc).

School chairman Ali Hassan, principal Rashid Mandi and director Dr Muhammad Mashood congratulated the students on their achievement and wished them success in their future endeavours. 

They thanked the parents and teachers for encouraging and supporting the students.
