ISB students excel in Class 12 exam

Manama: The students of Indian School (ISB) performed very well in the Class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams held in March, school officials said. 

The school achieved a pass percentage of 98.3.

A total number of 639 students appeared for the examination this year. 

This is reportedly the best result the school has produced in the past six years.  

Jubin Jacob with 484 marks out of 500 stands as the school and island topper. 

Subhayan Roy and Karishma Hemanathan with 483 marks earned second spot and Anirudh Anand Velamore with 482 third positions in the school.    

Chairman Prince S Natarajan, school executive committee members and principal V R Palaniswamy congratulated the students, teachers and parents for architecting excellent results. 

They said the credit goes to the academic environment, planning, team and teachers.

The highlights of the achievement are as follows:-

(1)  Two students secured full marks in Biotechnology.

(2)  One student each scored full marks in Chemistry and Computer Science.

(3)  24 students scored subject highest marks in Mathematics.

(4)  17 students obtained A1 in all subjects.

(5) 100pc results in Humanities stream.
