Bobbin Lace Workshop

Venue: The Art House- Al Muqsha
The Bobbin Lace Course will take students through the process of bobbin lace making, from basic stiches, shapes, starting and finishing, bobbin winding, how to bead bobbins (spangling) and how to use different threads, through to designing your own piece of lace. There is no age limit to making lace.
Making lace cannot be taught in a set time as each student varies in how easy or difficult they may find the process but this means new students can enter the course at any time. The first, introductory, lesson will be making a book mark.
