265 housing contracts in Sanad distributed
Manama : The Housing Ministry yesterday started handing over the contracts of 265 housing units in the Sanad Housing Project for beneficiaries whose names feature in the Capital Governorate’s waiting lists.
The move is in line with the directives of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to speed up the distribution of the housing units in the completed or under construction housing projects, in accordance with the pre-set plan in this regard.
Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policies and Services Khalid Al-Haidan said that the Housing Ministry had started distributing the contracts to the old applicants after the completion of construction and infrastructure works of the Sanad projects.
Al-Haidan explained that the distribution process would continue throughout this week, stressing the Housing Ministry’s keenness to implement HRH Premier’s directives to follow up the housing needs in villages, including Sanad, and to spare no effort to meet the citizens’ housing needs according to the Government Action Plan.
