Expat’s body to be repatriated today
Manama: The body of Indian Shibu Karikampoikayil (42) who was killed in a road accident recently will be repatriated to his hometown today by Air India Express.
Shibu, who worked as a delivery boy in Aqua Cool, died on the spot on May 11 while he was trying to cross a road when a heavy truck ran over him.
He is survived by his wife and child who are at Thiruvalla in the south Indian state of Kerala.
He was working with a cleaning and maintenance company in Gudaibiya before joining the Aqua Cool a few months ago.
His colleague Anil will accompany the body.
Shibu has been leading an expat life in Bahrain for more than two decades.
