Bahrain court jails teen for 10 years
Manama: The High Criminal Court has sentenced a 19-year-old Bahraini boy to 10 years in jail for planting a fake bomb in Tubli two years ago.
The device had wires connected to each other, and the police officers initially treated it as a genuine bomb.
However, the bomb disposal experts eventually declared that it was just a fake bomb.
Detectives established the responsibility of the 19-year-old after lifting fingerprints from the scene and found that they were matching with the defendant’s fingerprints.
He, however, denied any involvement in the case.
