Bahrain Edu minister highlights promotion of technical education
Manama: Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi stressed keenness to uplift technical and vocational education in Bahrain and attracting training experts in the same area.
The Minister was on a visit to City of Oxford College specialised in technical and vocational education.
He discussed the ways to promote technical and vocational education during a meeting with Interactive Learning Director Sally Dicketts and International Business Director Terry Watts.
He pointed out that the Ministry targets running new vocational orientation programmes for secondary school students.
The Minister also visited University Technical College and met with CEO Charles Parker who briefed on the capacities needed to train technical and vocational education teachers as well as teaching students how to develop their skills in order to assist them in the labour market.
