Standard Chartered named ‘Best Risk Advisor’ in the Middle East

Standard Chartered Bank was awarded “Best Flow House” and "Best Risk Advisor” in the Middle East in Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence 2015 recently.

The accolades were presented at a ceremony hosted earlier this month at the Shangri-la Hotel in Dubai. Sami Mahfouz, Head of Financial Markets, UAE and Ehsan Ahmed, Head of Foreign Exchange, Rates and Credit Trading for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region, attended the event along with other senior representatives from the Bank.

Morad Mahlouji, the bank’s head of financial markets for the MENAP region said the awards reiterated the bank’s ability to offer customised solutions in financial markets and risk advisory for clients and businesses in the MENA region.

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, now in their 24th consecutive year, is among the more respected awards in the financial services industry. The awards are given on the basis of combines quantitative data with informed subjective judgements in the industry.
