Bahraini attacks mother for money to buy drugs
Manama: A Bahraini man has been ordered to be detained for allegedly beating up his mother as she refused to give him money to buy illegal drugs.
The case was reported to the police by the mother, who is in her sixties, after her 29-year-old son attacked her. She told police officers that her son was consistently attacking her whenever she refused to give him money. “He assaulted me several times because he was ordering me to give him money. I don’t have money and my retirement salary is the only thing I have,” the woman said. “My son is addicted to drugs.”
