Bahrain, France economic cooperation discussed

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayyed has met Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Pierre Antoine Gailly here yesterday. The duo discussed ways of bolstering joint economic cooperation and exchanging visit.
The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the roadshow ‘This is Bahrain’, focused on means of strengthening bilateral relations, stressing the vital role of the private sector in revitalizing the national economy in the two countries.
Almoayyed urged French businessmen to intensify their investments in Bahrain, stressing the Kingdom’s streamlined legislations and favourable environment for foreign business.
He also called for the establishment of an economic partnership between Bahrain and France to profit from investment opportunities in both countries, emphasizing the importance of encouraging businessmen and industrialists.
The BCCI chairman has also visited the French National Parliament, on the sidelines of his visit to Paris as part of efforts to strengthen relations which would benefit the national economy.
