Ritz Carlton wins big at Busaiteen

Manama: Ritz Carlton crushed Awali Bapco by a massive 183 runs in the latest matches of the BFC sponsored BCL-CBA Division Diamond League 25 Overs Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Ritz Carlton scored 265 for seven thanks to great knocks by Zeeshan (109), Imran (71) and Luqman (31), then dismissed Awali Bapco for a paltry 82 with the only resistance from Jiger (19), while Tharindu (four for 19) and Luqman (three for 14) were the pick of the bowlers.

In another match, Awali Gents beat Bassali Focus Tiger by 10 wickets after the latter were dismissed for 201 with Hamza (45) and Dilawar (43) with Jainesh (three for 28) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Awali Gents reached the target scoring 204 without loss with Shanawaz (109) and Felix (73) spearheading the victory.
