Bridgeford wins first Monday Night Lights
Manama: A fun new Monday evening Night Golf Series got underway at the Royal Golf Club this week with Brian Bridgeford (24 on count back) narrowly winning the opening “Monday Night Lights” tournament ahead of Iftikhar Butt with Dave Fernie (22) in third, with nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 both won by Steven Hill.
Nearly 40 players took part in the stableford tournament which was played on the back nine holes of the Club’s challenging Montgomerie championship course.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Sohail Singh, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes.
