Adhere to real values to come up, urges PM

 His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that some sides were trying to shift focus from development to combating destructive ideology, which promotes terrorism by exploiting extremists as weapons against their nations.

 He called for the need to be aware of the extent of the conspiracy staged against the Arab Nations and the repeated attempts to subvert its countries’ security and stability.

 HRH the Prime Minister was speaking at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday with a number of MPs and Shura Council members, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and a few senior state officials.

 During the meeting, HRH Premier urged adherence to the distinguished genuine values that helped Bahrain attain innumerable achievements and reach leading positions in various fields.

 He underscored the importance of increasing the pace of work and achievements so that development reflects positively on the services and the citizens’ quality of life.

 HRH Premier urged to promote the values of love, fraternity and co-existence and consolidate them in society for religious and national reasons.

He said that some sides needed to reflect deeply on what they are raising. “The top interests of the nation and society should be prioritised by everybody through cementing national unity and denouncing attempts to sow divide among members of the one-family Bahraini society,” he reminded.
