Movement analysis course held
Manama : A movement analysis course, using computer programme ‘Dartfish’, concluded recently with 21 coaches of different sports clubs and federations from Bahrain and the GCC, taking part.
The five-day course was organised by the Sports Training and Development Centre (STDC) which is under the umbrella of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) in Juffair.
It was part of the centre’s plan to develop national sports officials within sports clubs and associations from Bahrain and abroad.
Participants were presented with ways of creating the analysis plan in accordance to their sport by dartfish expert and international instructor Mahmood Fakhro, who is authorised by the Swiss Dartfish Company to run this event.
BOC sports affairs acting executive director Abduljalil Asad presented certificates to participants at the closing ceremony.
Fakhro expressed his thanks and appreciation to the BOC for adopting this training programme for 10 years.
