RCB thump Sprite CC

Manama : RCB defeated Sprite CC by 56 runs in the latest matches of the Sprite sponsored BCL-CBA Division Premier League 25 Overs Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, RCB scored 222 for seven in 25 overs with the main scorers being Noufal (60), Ranjit (51) and Salim (31) with Omar (two for 30) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Sprite CC fell short of the target scoring 166 for eight with Zeeshan (47) and Omar (45) being the main scorers with Nouf (three for 10) the pick of the bowlers.

In another match, Awan CC beat ACL by 46 runs after notching up 223 for nine with the top scorers being Samir Zulfikar (61), Shabbir (33) and Bilal (30) with Arslan (three for 34) the best of the bowlers.

ACL in reply were dismissed for 177 with Imran (33) top scoring and Faisal (four for 29) the main strike bowler.

Alpha Fire Safety 182/6 ( Sameer 112, Omran 29) bt Union Group 147/9 (Sanjay 18, Nadeem 2/27) by 35 runs. 

Bahrain Indians 157 all out (Binu 50, Karthik 23, Waseeq bt Combine CC 119 all out (Nasir 57,Sameer 4/11) by 38 runs.
