Scorpions clinch Chevron title

 Team Scorpions captained by Ali Al Qaseer (94 points) clinched the Chevron Bowling League title at the Bapco Club lanes in Awali. Second and third places went to Batelco (88) and Zain Bahrain (88) respectively in the league which is sponsored annually by the General Manager of Chevron Bahrain Majeed Shafea.

Deaf team (64) came in fourth place, followed by Kingdom (52), Isa Town (36), Wood Peckers (18) and Sting (8).
Team Scorpions consists of young players Ahmed Al Khaja, Mohammed Jawad, Yousif Al Jahromi, Mohammed Ali Janahi, Ahmed Al Awadhi, Osama Abdulrahman, Ali Al Mas in addition to its captain Ali Al Qaseer, showed determination and spirit in its quest for the title especially against the stronger teams like Batelco and Zain Bahrain.

Individual prizes went to Ali Al Mas (225.21) high average, Ahmed A. Jabbar (761) high series, Ahmed Al Khaja (289) and Ali Maroof (289) high game and the most improved average went to Masood Saberi (+16.63).

The management of Awali Bowling Club congratulated all the winners and wished the rest better luck in next season and also, expressing its thanks to Majeed Shafea, General Manager Chevron Bahrain for his usual support.
