Three gets jail in drug case
Manama : A Gulf national accused of selling and consuming drugs has been slapped with 10 years behind bars. He was also fined BD5,000.
The defendant is implicated in this case alongside another Gulf national, aged 26, and an Arab woman, 38, both of whom have been sentenced to two years in jail as they were found guilty of only consuming drugs.
It was the Arab woman, who was initially captured following a tip-off to the police. She revealed the identity of the co-defendants to police officers.
They were apprehended in a sting operation after she contacted the first defendant and requested to buy drugs.
