Carnatic concert and workshop
Manama : The Indian Fine Arts society will conduct “Yuva Raagam” a dual programme, featuring a classical Carnatic concert and a workshop on Carnatic music by Sriranjani Santhanagopalan on June 3 at 6.30 pm at the Bahrain Society of Engineers auditorium, Juffair. Sriranjani Santhanagopalan is the daughter of the illustrious Carnatic maestro Neyveli Santhanagopalan.
Sriranjani Santhanagopalan, an All India Radio “A” grade artist, has been honoured with several awards and accolades. She has travelled extensively leaving her audiences in awe of her talent. Sriranjani will be accompanied by P. Ananthakrrishnan on violin and R. Sankaranarayanan on mridangam.
Sriranjani will conduct a comprehensive interactive workshop on Carnatic music at the Ashrafs Hall, Hoora, 6th floor, between 4pm and 6 pm on June 4. For further details contact 39135586, 39685173.
