Court jails two arsonists
Manama : The High Criminal Court has sentenced two arsonists to five years in prison, while a third defendant received two years behind the bars.
Meanwhile, three others involved in the same case were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
The Public Prosecution charged the defendants of burning movables, and participating in an illegal gathering on June 23 last year, with intention to disturb public order and commit crimes by the use of force.
The event occurred on Shaikh Isa Al Kabeer Avenue in the Kingdom’s capital, according to court files.
