Tennis preliminary rounds completed

Manama : The preliminary rounds of the BTA Junior Tennis Tournament organised by Bahrain Tennis Academy (BTA) at the Dilmun Club, Saar have been completed with finalists in the six years and-under category taking part in a skills competition in which all their basic strokes were tested for consistency and accuracy.

Meanwhile, competitors in the eight years and 10 years and under categories took part in round-robin matches on the modified 36’ and 60’ courts designed to accelerate their development. Each session concluded with all participants receiving a certificate for their efforts. The top in the six years and under category and the top four scorers in the eight and 10 years and under categories will return for the final rounds.

Six years and under finalists: Lukas Bhilotra, Salma Fares. 

Eight years and under semi-finalists: Vyom Gupta, Abdulaziz Al Betairi, Hamza Moussa, Shamik Sarangi.

Ten years and under semi-finalists: Rohan Mukherjee, Rushikesh Sonawane, Boudica Verbeek, Hashem Halawani.
