Al Hala Club wins MEED Quality Award

Manama : Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Hisham Mohamed Al Jowder revealed that Al Hala Club has won MEED Quality Award for Projects on a national and gulf level.

The award was received by Facilities and Projects Director Khalid Saleem Al Haj and Head of the Design Department, Fajer Al Hashemi.

Speaking on the win, Al Jowder said, “Al Hala Club project excelled from a design standpoint, execution and innovation. The project serves the youth population and also meets the health and safety requirements. Apart from these, it uses ecofriendly materials.”

Al Jowder added that the award will give the ministry workers a greater incentive to double their efforts  to improve the infrastructure for the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom.

The project consists of a two-storey building in which, the first floor consists of adults hall, reception room, small hall for physical education, karate hall, administrative offices and services section. The second floor has administrative offices, activities room and services room.

The project also includes the construction of another building, which has a big hall for physical education, a swimming pool and offices.
