Al Hammadi finishes on top in Beaugres

ManamaBahrain Endurance Team rider, Yaqoub Al Hammadi finished the 120 km-race first in the Beaugres  Endurace race in France, while compatriots Raed Mahmood and Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa finished third and fourth places respectively.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Bahrain Endurance Team Captain, hailed the Bahrain Royal Endurance Team’s victory, pointing out the team met all the goals set prior to their participation in the event. “The team has greatly benefited from this extraordinary result, where all the riders prepared well with great team spirit to achieve the top places,” Shaikh Nasser noted. “Everything went as desired and was proved by the results achieved and the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the sport ahead of the up-coming European competition where we expect to face stiff competition.”

Shaikh Nasser affirmed the team will continue its preparations for the next races.
