Bahrain Child Protection Centre discusses awareness
Manama : The board of directors of the Child Protection Centre recently held a meeting chaired by the Head of Temporary Sheltering Homes Directorate, Marwa Kazbar.
It was attended by board members representing the Supreme Council of Women, Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Interior, Information Affairs Authority, Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, Ministry of Health, Child’s Wish Society and Bahrain Child Development Society.
The meeting discussed follow up of implementation of the centre’s plans for child protection and prevention of violence and maltreatment.
The board was informed about the centre’s activities and services. The members also discussed means to spread awareness on the protection of children against harm.
