Activate deals
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday directed the Cabinet to consolidate the Kingdom’s relations with the friendly countries he had visited by activating the agreements, memoranda of understanding, executive and investment programmes signed with them.
HM King made the statement while chairing the weekly Cabinet session at the Gudaibiya Palace, in the presence of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
King Hamad stressed that talks with the leaders of the countries opened up new horizons of cooperation, stated Cabinet Secretary General Dr. Yasser bin Essa Al Naser.
The Prime Minister said the popular welcome accorded to King Hamad during his visits to friendly countries reflects the prestigious international status enjoyed by His Majesty.
The Prime Minister later briefed HM the King on the procedures to be taken to implement the agreements.
His Majesty then lauded the services delivered by Saudi Arabia to Hajj pilgrims, and its unwavering efforts in organising Hajj affairs, stressing Bahrain’s support to Saudi Arabia’s right to take all actions pertaining to Hajj arrangements. HM the King also reiterated Bahrain’s rejection of any attempt to politicise Hajj.
