Prime Minister praise national achievements

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday lauded the national achievements and cooperation between the executive and legislative branches during the second sessions of the fourth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils. 

The Premier said this while receiving at Gudaibiya Palace Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Jamal Mohammed Fakhro and a number of MPs and senior state officials, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani.

Prince Khalifa underscored the government’s support to the parliament to fully perform its monitoring and legislative work. The Premier also urged commitment to the principle of unity, being the best way to deal with all challenges and threats.

The Prime Minister voiced confidence in the Bahraini people to protect their homeland from all threats and challenges, thanks to their patriotism and unity. Prince Khalifa underlined the government’s commitment to boosting citizens’ welfare by continuously optimising services. 

The Premier stressed that all ministers and government officials have clear directives to increase field visits to cities and villages to reach out to citizens’ needs. HRH Prime Minister discussed regional and international developments, warning of policies aimed at inciting sedition and division to serve particular agendas.
