A.M. Best affirms A-ratings of BKIC
Manama : A.M. Best International has affirmed the financial strength rating A- (Excellent) and the issuer credit rating of “a-“ of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BSC). The outlook for both ratings is stable.
In a statement, AM Best has confirmed that the rating reflects BKIC’s strong risk-adjusted capitalisation, conservative investment strategy, excellent track record of technical profits in all classes of insurance, and strong presence in Bahrain market which is considered as the leading insurer in terms of gross written premiums. BKIC also holds a prominent position within Kuwait as a top five insurer.
Ebrahim Al Rayes, C.E.O of BKIC stated that we are pleased with this Credit Rating and it reflects the financial strength of the company and its ability to meet its obligations.
It is worth mentioning that BKIC is a member of Gulf Insurance Group (KSC) owned by Kuwait Projects Company and FairFax International.
