Capital Governor opens exhibition

Manama : Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa extended the Kingdom’s invitation to an internationally renowned artist, while sponsoring the latter’s exhibition, held recently in Downtown Rotana Hotel.

The exhibition featured Photographer and Editor of National Geographic, Professor Arne Hodalic, who is on his first visit to the Kingdom.

A number of dignitaries, including ambassadors, artists, connoisseurs and officials of the Capital Governorate and private sector attended the exhibition. 

The exhibition had a number of pictures taken by the Professor, in addition a public auction on a number of his photographs.

Shaikh Hisham stressed that the Capital Governorate encourages the establishment of such programmes. He added that the exhibition will encourage traders to contribute to the promotion of the Capital governorate. 

He also expressed happiness and wished good luck and success to those in charge of the exhibition.

It is worth mentioning that Professor Arne Hodalic’s work in National Geographic magazine  has been printed in 27 countries. 

He has also exhibited his works in more than 70 exhibitions in different continents.
