BDF Hospital gets International accreditation
Manama : The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO) has awarded Bahrain Defence Force Hospital (BDFH) an international accreditation as a specialised centre for surgery of obesity and diabetes.
The accreditation was announced earlier, following a visit by an IFSO delegation to the BDFH in March.
Royal Medical Services Commander Maj-Gen Prof. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa appreciated BDF Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for supporting the Royal Medical Services. He said that the BDFH is among the few hospitals in the Middle East to receive the accreditation.
