Jailbirds escape from Bahrain prison
Manama : A number of detainees who escaped Dry Dock Detention Centre last night were arrested today, security authorities confirmed.
Interior Ministry tweeted that necessary legal procedures have been initiated against them.
However the ministry did not clarify how many fugitives were caught and how many were still at large.
However it is understood that around 20 prisoners escaped from the prison using a police bus that was later found in Bilad Al Qadeem.
They are reportedly armed and dangerous too.
The escape resulted in huge traffic blocks in several areas during early hours today. Police are searching for the culprits at different points of the roads.
