BCCI committee participates in 15th OIC Trade Fair in Riyadh
Manama : The Promotion, Exhibitions, and Conferences sector committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), alongside Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority, recently participated in the 15th Trade Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states being held in Riyadh.
It was inaugurated by the Governor of Riyadh Region HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.
Bahrain is amidst over 30 of the OIC Member States participating in the trade fair, which comes in line with the decisions and recommendations of the Islamic Summit Conferences, the Islamic Conference of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC).
While lauding the prestigious standing of the event and its prospective outcomes, the Deputy Chairperson of the Promotion, Exhibitions, and Conferences committee Wael Mirza shed light on the purpose of the committee’s participation.
He said the event promotes the business environment and economic standing of Bahrain.
