Bin Faqeeh to conduct Holy Quran competition

Manama : As the Holy Month of Ramadan is round the corner, the Kingdom’s premier privately-owned real estate investment company Bin Faqeeh will conduct a Holy Quran Competition in coordination with the Holy Quran Custody Society. The Society has achieved international acclaim as winners of the best organisers of Holy Quran Recitation globally.

The Bin Faqeeh Award for Holy Quran Competition is open to male students enrolled at any of the Quran Teaching Centres across Bahrain. The competition is divided into three available categories. The first category is open to only Bahrainis, of any age. This category requires the participant to memorize 10 parts; either from Surah Al-Baqarah to Surah At-Tawbah or from Surah Al-‘Ankabut to Surah An-Nas. 

The second category is open to 18-year-olds of any nationality. This category requires the participant to memorize 5 parts from Surah Al-Ahqaf to Surah An-Nas. The third category is open to 15-year-olds of any nationality. This category requires the participant to memorize three parts from Al-Mujadila to Surah An-Nas.

Registration can only be done through the Quran Teaching Centres or by visiting the link: https://goo.gl/AbX3mI. Participants are permitted to participate in only one category of the three available categories. Registration will be open from 1st Ramadan to 20th Ramadan. Pre-qualifications will be conducted within the teaching centres from 21st Ramadan to 28th Ramadan. 

The first round of recitation will be from October to December 2016 across the different governorates and the second round of recitation would be in January 2017 to March 2017. The grand finale ceremony will be in Ramadan 2017.

Grand Prize for the winner of the competition is an apartment.
