HM King orders Ramadan gift to RCO-sponsored families

Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued a Royal Order to disburse Ramadan gift to all Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)-sponsored families as Muslims prepare to mark the holy month.
His Majesty directed the Royal Charity Organisation presided over by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to disburse the gift to the families ahead of the holy month of Ramadan to assist the families to cater for their needs and necessities in the holy month and to alleviate their financial burdens.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser, the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)'s Board of Trustees, expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation for his compassionate paternal care for RCO-sponsored families, citing his constant directives to provide dignified livelihood to the kingdom's citizens and sharing with them the various occasions.

HH Shaikh Nasser said this yearly royal grant is a humanitarian initiative emanating from a loving and kind paternal heart keen on the provision of all sorts of support for his compatriots.
His Majesty is always keen on philanthropic deeds and providing dignified livelihood to his people and directing continuous support and diversified care to orphans and widows to ensure a stable and dignified living for them as His Majesty is their principal supporter.

For his part, the RCO secretary-general Dr. Mustafa Alsayed said this yearly royal grant emanates from His Majesty's constant keenness and attentiveness to direct all forms of support to the citizens on all occasions. The grant goes to the benefit of all RCO-registered orphans and widows totaling 10,000, he said.

Dr. Alsayed added that according to this generous royal gift and at the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser, the Organisation has finalized all the procedures to disburse the grant to the beneficiaries and deposited the amounts in the bank accounts of all RCO-sponsored families.
