Celebrate Ramadan in traditional style with Gulf Hotel

ManamaAs the new crescent moon brings in the Holy Month of Ramadan, The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa invites all to experience it famous Iftar buffet and its ever popular Ramadan Tent, Khaimat Al Khaleej. 

As the Sun sets for Iftar, join for the ceremonial breaking of fast in the relaxed and family atmosphere of Al Waha Restaurant and Takht Jamsheed, offering deliciously authentic lavish Iftar buffet made up of the freshest local ingredients and traditional Arabic specialties. The Iftar buffet will feature both Arabic and Persian delicacies every evening from sunset onwards and is priced at BD17++ per person in both restaurants.

Al Waha Restaurant will offer selections of exquisite dates, refreshing juices, as well as hot and cold mezzeh with an enticing selection of salads, home-baked breads, shawarma and falafel. Adding to this is a wide variety of traditional Arabic dishes including Arabic quzi, thireed, harees and a delectable array of Arabic desserts such as Um Ali, kunafa and mahalabiya.

Award winning Persian Restaurant Takht Jamsheed will also be offering an authentic mix of both Arabic and Persian delicacies specially marinated by the Persian Chef. 

This year Rasoi by Vineet the first fine-dining award winning Indian restaurant in Bahrain, operated by a Michelin starred chef will offer a majestic “all you can eat” Iftar set menu option for only BD20 net per person. Feel like dining in the comfort of your own home? Then why not  take advantage of Rasoi by Vineet’s exclusive Iftar. Enjoy your favourites such as Samosa chat, Gilafi seekh kebab, Raan Lucknowi and the famous Rasoi Biryani. 

For the traditional Ghabga and to enjoy a late evening get-together with friends and family, The Gulf Hotel’s famous Ramadan tent, Khaimat Al AKhaleej will be open every night from 9pm to 2am Saturday through Wednesday, and from 9pm to 3am on Thursdays and Fridays. Prices are BD16++ on weekdays and BD18++ on weekends. Guests may indulge in a delicious buffet, including a wide variety of traditional Bahraini and Arabic specialties, against a background of traditional Arabic music. 

Several options are also available for both Ghabgah and Iftar packages with special rates for Corporate Groups and Prestige Club members.
