Court postpone plea on breaking road rules case
Manama : The High Criminal Court adjourned hearing the appeal of the Public Prosecution against the acquittal of an Asian man in ignoring a red traffic light case.
The defendant caused a road accident by his sponsor’s car and failing to respond to the red traffic light. He crashed the vehicle into another car, but he refused to admit to his offence.
The 43-year-old man was cleared of any wrongdoing, as a result of which the Public Prosecution challenged the initial sentence. He was earlier charged with failing to obey the road traffic law.
