Sailor’s body will be buried in Bahrain
Manama: Indian sailor who died an accidental fall on a cargo boat midway in Bahrain waters will be buried in Bahrain. Indian sailor Sanghar Salim Karim (31) died on his way from Gujarat to Kuwait in his cargo boat on May 29. Since he died in the Bahrain border of the Arabian Gulf, Bahrain’ coastguard officials received the dead body and transferred to the Salmaniya Medical Complex(SMC) morgue with the help of the Indian Embassy officials. Sanghar hails from Ahmedabad and is survived by his wife who is pregnant.
His funeral will take place in Bahrain after the funeral prayer which will take place on Wednesday(June 8) at Kuwaiti Masjid in Gudaibia, Manama, informed social worked Subair Kannur.
