77% of progress in Karana's sewerage network
Manama: The Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning, Asma Murad, said the Ministry has achieved 77% progress in the implementation of a sewerage network in Karana Block 460, where 80km long main connections and 50km long sub-connections have been extended, in addition to constructing 11 inspection chambers.
Murad explained that the project comprises of extending 800m of main connections and 350m sub-connections, constructing 50 inspection chambers, 1 pumping station and connecting 35 houses to the network, in addition to connecting Karana’s Primary School for Girls to the network.
