Life in jail for killing motorcyclist
Manama: The Chief of Prosecution, Mohammed Salah, said the first High Criminal Court today sentenced a suspect to a life in jail and ordered the confiscation of his car.
The suspect was charged with deliberately killing a motorcyclist in the Damistan area in a collision between his car and the victim's motorbike.
Earlier, the Public Prosecution received a report about the incident and launched an investigation and questioned witnesses.
Investigations revealed that following a previous dispute between the two men, a chase took place and the suspect deliberately jammed his car into the victim's motorbike from behind, causing the motorcyclist's death
The Public Prosecution referred the suspect to the first High Criminal Court on charges of deliberate murder.
