255,202 people entered Bahrain from June 2-8
Manama : The Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) on Thursday said 255,202 people had entered the Kingdom of Bahrain on June 2-8.
According to NPRA's weekly statistic, 207,045 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahad Causeway, 47,886 through Bahrain International Airport and 271 through ports.
The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
