BDF to carry on development plans
Manama: Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit.
The commander-in-Chief was briefed about the unit's work and its training programmes. He also got updated on the unit's military readiness and preparedness to carry out all military tasks assigned to it.
Following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, BDF will harness all its potentials to provide its units with advanced military systems, the commander-in-chief said.
He also affirmed that the BDF would carry on its plans to upgrade the level of its affiliates in accordance with the latest military and combat systems so as to enable them to perform their duties to the fullest.
