255,202 entered Bahrain on June 2-8

Manama: The Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) yesterday said 255,202 people entered the Kingdom of Bahrain on from the period between June 2 and 8. 

According to NPRA’s weekly statistic, 207,045 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahad Causeway, 47,886 through Bahrain International Airport and 271 through ports.

The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
